At last the true home of underground music is alive in Sydney. Created for emerging artists from all genres from Dubstep/Drum'n'Bass/Trance/Hip hop/Dub/Reggae to Punk/Hardcore/Grunge/Death/Grind/Metal. Formely known as Harp Hotel, situated at 900 Princess Hwy, Tempe, Valve Bar&Venue (originaly opened and operated in Wellington, New Zealand) is open in Sydney.
Valve gave birth to bands such as Shihad, The Black Seeds, Trinity Roots, The Upbeats, Fur Patrol and hundreds of others, and had the pleasure of hosting Hatebreed, Throwdown, Darkest Hour, Pungent Stench for the duration of a decade. With the best PA, lighting, art and atmosphere for the size of the venue and a music embracing attitude in the only venue of the kind unspoiled by gaming/pokie palace presence, we would love to host a show for anyone willing to share true expression!
