I am using a PC and i am currently going with either Cubase or Protools, what would you recommend?

Hey, I use Cakewalk Sonar, and I've tried a few other programs. Sonar works great for me - recording latin stuff. It's got all the audio processing power you could possibly need plus heaps of software compatability. It's the easiest interface that I've used in a pro audio program. Hope that helps.
