I was just wondering if you could give me any ideas on the best music production program i should buy like: Pro Tools etc.

It Despends what sort of music you want to do.

I find cubase the best to write songs using midi. The company that makes it has a cut down version called Sequel have a look at the Steinberg website

If your more into dance or hip hop you may want to try out Reason



or Ableton live.

I personally find these programs limiting but they are very popular.

there are a lot of demos of these on youtube. See what one you like the look of.

Yeah i have heard alot about Cubase and alot of people have said that that is a good program to use so yeah, ill check it out, thanks alot!

Well because my dad is Ecuadorian, i obviously play all of the Latin music along with Hip Hop/RnB, 70-80-90s, even Rock'n'Roll, watever people want i guess.

But jnow that im starting to become a music producer, ive been producing for a friend of mine and we are doing Hip Hop and RnB songs, so making beats etc...

ProTools is Audio Recording & Editing based, the Midi side is simple.
Logic is open-ended, you can use any hardware including Protools, Apogee etc,
its great for Midi, & the Audio Editing is good too,
Cuebase is good for Midi ,some of the Audio side is only compatiable with Cubase, VST etc, which is not the best sounding stuff,
