Latin Block Party

Hear the dream team of the best Latin Underground artists in Australia. Jazz, salsa, hip hop, reggaeton, and all forms of Spanglish music come together in a showcase of the new wave of urban sounds - produced by locals straddling their Aussie and Latino cultural influences.

Saturday night sees The Studio reborn as a nightclub, while the all-ages Sunday show becomes a ‘fiesta’ family affair, introducing the next generation to Spanglo culture.

The all-star line-up includes Oscar Jimenez (Watussi) with nine-piece band Veneno, Merenia Gillies, Francisca ‘Cisca’ Munoz, Martin Taylor & Wilson Orozco from the Mucho Mambo orchestra, Carlos Velasquez, Gonzalo Porta, Victor Valdes, Nasrine, Paul Chenard, Oz Locos, hosts Maya Jupiter and MC Coco and the hottest Latin DJ and MC in town; Dwight “Chocolate” Escobar.
